Organizations that serve women living with HIV or AIDS can use this instrument to determine if they are appropriately addressing these women’s needs and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals. The tool supplies questions on essential areas of care and advocacy, including provision of antiretroviral drugs and information about international agreements about the rights of HIV-positive people as well as the broader inclusion of the HIV-positive into program development and evaluation.
